Wednesdays from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Drop in provides community members with a meal, coffee, and often there is an activity such as art, music, reading, or board games. All are welcome!

The services below are available during drop-in hours:

Our new clinic space is now open to the community during drop-in hours! The clinic is home to our new foot health program, Street Feet! See our Programs page for more info. STI testing also takes place in the clinic on a semi-regular basis, provided by Street Connections.


Harm Reduction SuppliesHarm Reduction Supplies

Sunshine House provides harm reduction supplies such as condoms (insertive & external), lubricant, syringes and other injection drug equipment (tourniquets, cotton balls, spoons) & crack pipes. Provided in baskets on the front counter, people may help themselves to the harm reduction supplies that they need.

Clothing BankClothing Bank

Sunshine House maintains a small clothing bank and also a supply of basic cooking utensils. If you have a donation, please contact Sunshine House to arrange drop off. If you would like to access these resources, it can be done during Drop-In hours, or you can contact Sunshine House to arrange an alternate time. (Click here for contact info)

LaundryLaundry Facilities

Sunshine House has a washer and dryer on the lower level, available for use by community members.

(Note: Due to the limited 2 hour time frame, laundry services are not currently available during drop-in hours)

WashroomWashroom Facilities

During drop-in and program hours, there are multiple washrooms available for use at Sunshine House.  The upstairs washroom has a bathtub that can be used by community members.

Community Reading Room


In 2014 the Community Reading Room was born on the second floor of Sunshine House. Available for use during Sunday Brunch and Drop-In, the reading room has comfy couches, lots of good books that people can take with them, and reading glasses available for community use.

The reading room is dedicated to the memory of Arnold Badger, a reader, writer, and Sunshine House participant.
