We’re Hiring: Zaagi-Too-Wad Case Coordinator
Position Title: Zaagi-Too-Wad Case Coordinator
Positions Available: Full-Time
Hours of Work: 30-40 hours per week
Hours Available: Days, evenings, and one day per weekend.
Wage: $22.50- $32.72 per hour
The Zaagi-Too-Wad Case Coordinator is responsible for supporting participants connected to Sunshine House Zaagi-Too-Wad Housing programs. The Case Coordinator must be able to complete tasks independently and within deadlines. The Zaagi-Too-Wad Case Coordinator works in collaboration and under the guidance of the Director of Community Support Services. Case Coordinators work with community members, Sunshine House staff and volunteers in building capacity to support the individual’s journey from housing precarity or absolute houselessness to an eventual goal of housing stability.
Required Qualifications:
- An understanding and commitment to the principles of harm reduction, Indigenous cultural resurgence, and social justice.
- Ability to solve complex problems.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
- Lived experience as related to Sunshine House programs.
- Knowledge and/or practice of Indigenous ways of being and knowing.
- 2 years experience in relevant fields and/or applicable technical training including apprenticeship or mentorship.
